Track an Outlook email in MS Dynamics 365 and Convert it to Lead

Tracking an email in MS Dynamics 365 is very useful and easy. In this blog post, I will tell you the complete process of tracking an Outlook email in MS Dynamics 365 step by step.

Let’s start, go to the outlook and open a message. Click on the ellipses and find the option Dynamics 365. If you are not able to see this option then check here my other post regarding Dynamics 365 Apps for Office 365 and Desktop Outlook.

Now, choose the option Tracking without regarding.

Here you can see that the email is successfully tracked.

Now, we can see this record in MS Dynamics 365 as well. As you can see the email is created as an activity.

We can convert this email to Opportunity, Case, or Lead.

Here, I am converting this activity to Lead.

The lead is created and you can see it in MS Dynamics 365 as well.
